We are pleased to invite you to an afternoon of research and societal impact discussion on the topic of “Rethinking Smart Cities: From Right-Sizing to Smart Enough”, co-hosted by the Singapore Management University’s Urban Institute and Overseas Centre Bangkok, together with the Navamindradhiraj University’s Bangkok City Lab.
Prof. Orlando Woods will be sharing the latest research on how Southeast Asian are being “right-sized” to optimise the impact of smart solutions, but also to balance smart technology with social and economic needs. This event offers a valuable opportunity to hear from Assoc. Prof. Tavida Kamolvej, Deputy Governor of Bangkok and other leading academics on their perspectives on building “smart enough” cities.
