Concordian International School (CIS) was founded in 2001 on the principles of what it means to be an ethical and responsible member of a global society. CIS promotes academic excellence while nurturing young people to become moral and intellectual leaders, people of dignity, intergrity and compassion who want to make a difference in the world.
Concordian International School is fully authorized by the international Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). The IB Program is implemented in three separate stages tailored to meet the changing needs of students as they mature through school: the Primary Tears Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP), and Diploma (DP).
CIS is unique is our commitment to educating students in the IB curriculum framework though the medium of three languages - English, Mandarin Chinese and Thai. Students at Concordian will experience our Language Immersion Program from entry at Nusery age (2 1/2 years) until Grade 5 where each class has both english and Chinese speaking teachers. From Grade 6 to Grade 12, students will be taught in English with Mandarin Chinese taught as a modern world language.
