In 1997, Zamil Steel Buildings Vietnam Co., Ltd (ZSV) was established as a 100% foreign owned company in Vietnam (Hanoi). This establishment is a joint venture between Zamil Steel Industries and Japanese trading giant Mitsui & Co., Ltd. Having now two state of the art factories in Noi Bai Industrial Zone in Hanoi and Amata Industrial Park in Ho Chi Minh City, ZSV grew through sustained successes to reach the current production capacity of more than 60,000 M.T. To date, Zamil Steel Vietnam has manufactured and supplied more than 5,000 steel buildings across S.E.A.
Apart from achieving ISO 9001:2000 certification in year 2001 for the design, manufacture and supply of Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings, ZSV also received various prestigious accreditations such as S1 fabricator status recognized by the Structural Steel Society of Singapore (SSSS) and audited by the Building Construction Authority of Singapore, Industrial Building System (IBS) certification by the Construction and Industrial Development Board of Malaysia, VQM qualified by PT. IntiKarya Persada Tehnik (IKPT) of Indonesia, Certification by Japan’s Ministry of Land Infrastructure and Transport (MLIT) for the quality of manufacturing facilities and capacities in the fabrication of steel buildings, and Factory Mutuals (FM) Approval of Class 1 Panels for MaxSEAM, Zamil Steel’s ultimate standing seam roof system.
Currently Zamil Steel Vietnam operates through a network of 18 area offices located in 10 SEA countries including Vietnam (Hanoi, Haiphong, HCMC, Danang), Malaysia (KL, Johor, Kota kinabalu), Myanmar (Yangon, Mandalay, Pyinmana), Indonesia (Jakarta, Batam), Philippines (Manila), Thailand (Bangkok), Cambodia (Phnom Penh), Laos (Vientiane), Singapore, Japan (Tokyo) and Australian (Sydney).
With a total of more than 1,000 employees, Zamil Steel Vietnam is today the largest manufacturer and exporter of Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings in South East Asia and the presence of the manufacturing facilities show ZSV’s long-term commitment to the region, which allows ZSV to improve the turnaround cycle time and exceed the customers’ requirements.
